What to expect at a Catholic Health Amphitheater concert
When you go to Catholic Health Amphitheater concerts, you’ll first of all need to find – and pay for – a parking space. It’s also possible to park outside and walk or take a shuttle bus. Please see our Parking page for more details.
Tailgating is allowed in designated parking lots, provided you clean up after yourself and follow the rules. You’ll be able to take a bottle of water inside the amphitheater, but you’ll also see food and beverage concessions around the lawn. Check out our Rules and Parking pages for more details.
Catholic Health Amphitheater holds 7,000 or so enthusiastic concert-goers. It’s a great space for outdoor events, with a concert bowl layout that offers good views from any angle. Video screens on either side of the stage allow everyone to see what’s happening, even from right back on the lawn. There’s a great community vibe here for festivals, when many people are dancing and enjoying the atmosphere.

Famous performers at the Catholic Health Amphitheater
Some of the biggest names in the music world have performed here. When it was formerly the Pennysaver Amphitheater or even the Bald Hill Ski Bowl, people would flock here to see their favorite artists. Major names in the amphitheater’s hall of fame include Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Diana Ross, Bruce Springsteen, Blondie and Ringo Starr.
And that’s not even counting James Brown, Alice Cooper, Yes, Cheap Trick and Frankie Valli. More recently, the venue has welcomed artists including Jason Mraz, Chris Stapleton, Rascal Flatts, Gwen Stefani, Toby Keith, Sam Hunt, and many, many more.
Upcoming events for 2023 will see more artists joining this history of notable performers, including Chicago, Beres Hammond, Cody Johnson, Russell Dickerson and the Orquesta Guayacán. Artists returning to the Catholic Health Amphitheater this year include Darius Rucker, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
